the night after we saw Him put it back in the sky. really, she wished for us to be together, if it was meant to be, but I was looking up and so did I. despite our distance, I felt next to her. I could hear her voice within, no need for phone. at this point she could weakly hear mine, but her doubts and fears interfered with the clarity of my signal. It was so peaceful that night, the hope that we’d unite, already beginning to connect on the level we had been. I had longed for a connection of this kind all my life, but I knew it would take work. God knows I put work into it. she’s still human, and because of this, I had been putting her needs above mine. I just didn’t realize.. I don’t know. I have to meet her for real, not just screens. we’ll see what happens.
